2014 National Forum and Annual General Meeting

Canada's aquaculture industry stakeholders are invited to the National Forum and Annual General Meeting of the Canadian Aquaculture Industry Alliance (CAIA) taking place on November 25-26, 2014 in Ottawa, Ontario.

This annual event provides Canadian finfish, shellfish and aquatic plant farmers, feed companies and suppliers with a forum for information-sharing, dynamic presentations and discussion on all aspects of aquaculture development in Canada. Read more »

Russian Embargo and Canada's Aquaculture Industry

On August 6, 2014, President Vladimir Putin signed an Executive Order restricting the import of certain food products originating in countries that have decided to impose economic sanctions on Russian legal entities. Read more »

Renewal Required: US FDA Food Facility Registrations
